There, I admitted it. We can move on past the issue and forget that this was ever mentioned but instead I'll write it out here (because nobody really visits here and that doesn't bother me). My problem though is basically I own too many games and have little time for it. That makes me feel bad and I am ashamed.
In the past I have attempted to remedy this, but only through Steam. According to Steam I have 211 games. Want to know what makes it worse? I have more unredeemed games I haven't placed onto Steam yet because I been too lazy to redeem it on Steam. In my defense though, many of those games are from Humble Bundle. Humble Bundle is a platform where they'll accept almost any amount of money in exchange for indie and not so indie video games. The bonus is you get to choose how you want to distribute it, whether you want to give a portion of it to Charity, Dev, or Humble Bundle itself. You can donate it all one of the 3 sponsors if you really felt incline (I've done mostly that to the charity organization). So in that aspect, which is also why I have so many unredeemed games from HB. Anyway I attempted to at least try to play one hour a day and was doing it for about uh 3 days before I found I didn't have the time.
Now I wonder what happened to my time? I mean, I know where my time is being spent (going out with friends, volunteering, moving boxes, working out, softball, etc) but I don't exactly know how I got to this point in regards to my backlist of growing games. There is some weird primal urge to collect things or something and I seemed to accumulate video games with the intention of getting it now and playing it later. Later is such a vague sense of time no less. I just mentioned Steam alone though, I have a 3DS, DS, PSP (old phat one), PC, PS3, and 360 in the active play list, not including my mobile phone. Maybe it's no wonder I ADD so much, too many options vs when I was little and you had one game and you played the hell out of that one game and you liked it.
Anyway as I got my collectors edition of Diablo 3 Expansion at work yesterday (see I have a problem), I realized I never finished Diablo3. I wasn't even sure if it was installed on my PC (it was when I found out last night and found a 8gig patch being downloaded). Anyway last night I resolved to try to stick to one game per console (instead of just saying one hour a day or something while sticking to that one game). Hopefully this will hold true, so I'm looking at trying to finish Diablo 3 and quite possibly Reaper of Souls in relation to it (lv 30 Witch Doc that I forgot how to play) for PC lockdown. I think I'll try to finish up "Last of Us" for the PS3, Been playing "Dead Island" with my friends co-op together but maybe single player wise "Duck Tails" Remake. I'll finish up Pokemon Y (on the 7th gym on my way to the 8th). PSP I just barely refound so that may sit for a bit, not even going after the DS yet until I finished Pokemon Y.
Who know how long this will hold up, but I'll do my best to get through that. Also before I forget because I really had to look it up, my last finished games was Zelda Link to the Past remake on the 3DS. For the PS3 it was "Injustice: God Among Us," 360 it was "Gears of War: Judgement" and the PC I think the last game was Starcraft 2. Man I have a problem, first step was admitting it right?
